Data attribution & licences
Every number on this site tells you where it came from. This page lists each upstream source, its licence, and the exact statement anyone republishing our data must carry.
Most of our data is published by UK government bodies under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Two sources (OpenStreetMap, OpenChargeMap) are openly licensed community data and are labelled as such wherever they appear. If you republish data obtained from our reports or API, you must reproduce the applicable statements below.

Source terms & downloadsWhat we deliberately do not serve
- Per-address council tax bands — there is no lawfully redistributable bulk source, so our council tax figures are always labelled estimates.
- Address-lookup / address-validation data — PAF and AddressBase are Royal Mail / Ordnance Survey licensed products; we key our data on UPRN, postcode and outcode.
- Radon risk levels — the authoritative UKHSA/BGS atlas is licensed, not open; we link to the official lookup instead of estimating.
- Scotland and Northern Ireland sales records — not covered by open licensing today; coverage is labelled honestly per dataset.
