UK Planning Applications & Heritage Status

Comprehensive insights for any UK property — planning history, listed-building status, conservation areas, TPOs and scheduled monuments.

What we cover

  • Planning applications — every recorded application within 500m of an address, sourced from Planning Data UK (the government open-data portal aggregating every English LPA feed). Includes reference, decision, status, applicant and date.
  • Listed buildings — Grade I, II* and II from the Historic England National Heritage List, with distance to nearest listed structure and full citation.
  • Conservation areas — boundaries from each local planning authority's open-data feed; flag triggers if the address falls inside or within 50m of a designated area.
  • Scheduled monuments — Historic England's protected archaeological / historic monument list.
  • Registered parks & gardens — Historic England Grade I, II* and II parks, useful for understanding planning constraints near the address.
  • World Heritage Sites — UNESCO designation buffer zones (e.g. Tower of London, Bath, Westminster, Greenwich Maritime, Liverpool Maritime — though the latter has been delisted).
  • Tree preservation orders — surfaced where local planning authorities publish open data; otherwise a referral to the council's TPO map.

How the data is sourced

All sources are government-published, Open Government Licence v3.0. We do not rely on scraped third-party data and do not paywall the underlying figures — full citations and retrieval timestamps appear on every property report.
