Sold prices & comparables

HM Land Registry Price Paid Data (~29M transactions, England & Wales), mirrored monthly on the 22nd.

Comparables are exact-outcode matches (a trailing-space match so N1 never includes N10–N19), filtered to genuine residential full-market sales (PPD category A; non-residential and type-O rows excluded), ordered by transfer date.

Medians and ranges are computed over the filtered set; the sample count is always published alongside.

Registration lag: the most recent ~2 months are materially incomplete at source; treat very recent medians as provisional.

Price Paid excludes non-market transfers, and Scotland/Northern Ireland are not covered (Registers of Scotland licensing is separate).

API responses are address-light by default: sale facts and identifiers, not address strings (Royal Mail rights in the address fields).
